1. ABOUT THE JOURNAL

The Asian Journal of Agricultural Research and Crop Innovation (AJARCI) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal dedicated to advancing research, innovation, technology, and sustainable practices across agriculture and related sciences.

The journal provides a multidisciplinary platform for researchers, academicians, agricultural scientists, educators, extension professionals, industry experts, policymakers, and students to communicate original research and emerging knowledge related to crop science, agricultural production, crop improvement, plant sciences, soil and water management, agricultural biotechnology, precision agriculture, sustainable farming, and agricultural innovation.

With a particular interest in agricultural challenges and opportunities across Asia and other developing and emerging agricultural regions, AJARCI encourages research that combines scientific advancement with practical agricultural applications to build climate-resilient, resource-efficient, and sustainable farming systems.

2. AIM OF THE JOURNAL

The primary aim of AJARCI is to provide a credible international platform for the dissemination of high-quality research in agricultural sciences and crop innovation. The journal seeks to:

  • Promote original and scientifically sound research in agriculture and related disciplines.
  • Encourage innovation in crop production, crop improvement, and agricultural technologies.
  • Disseminate research addressing contemporary challenges in food security and sustainable agriculture.
  • Support the development and application of climate-smart and resource-efficient agricultural practices.
  • Encourage interdisciplinary research connecting agriculture with environmental science, biotechnology, technology, economics, and social sciences.
  • Provide opportunities for researchers from Asia and other regions to communicate agricultural knowledge and innovations.
  • Promote research-based solutions for improving crop productivity, quality, resilience, and sustainability.
  • Encourage the responsible use of emerging technologies in agricultural research and production.

3. SCOPE OF THE JOURNAL

AJARCI covers a broad interdisciplinary scope spanning fundamental, applied, and translational research in agricultural sciences across 18 major domains:

Research Ethics & Data Availability

Studies involving human, animal, or regulated biological subjects must include institutional review board (IRB) approval and consent. Authors are encouraged to deposit supporting dataset repositories.
