Originality, Plagiarism and AI-Assisted Writing Policy
BMS Publishing House is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. All submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by any other journal or publisher.
Plagiarism Policy
All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software before peer review.
1.) The overall similarity index should preferably be less than 10% (excluding references, quotations, and standard methodological descriptions where appropriate).
2.) Manuscripts containing significant plagiarism, duplicate publication, self-plagiarism, fabricated or falsified data, or other forms of academic misconduct may be rejected without review or withdrawn after publication if misconduct is confirmed.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy
Authors may use AI-based tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Grammarly, or similar applications) only to assist with language editing, grammar improvement, or formatting. Authors remain fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, interpretation, and integrity of all submitted content.
1.) AI tools must not be listed as authors or co-authors.
2.) Any substantial use of generative AI in manuscript preparation should be disclosed in the Acknowledgements or a separate AI Disclosure Statement.
3.)Where AI-content detection is used during editorial screening, manuscripts should preferably demonstrate less than 10% AI-generated content. However, editorial decisions will be based on the originality, scientific merit, and overall quality of the manuscript rather than AI-detection scores alone.
By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that their work complies with this policy and accept full responsibility for the content of the submission.
