Peer Review & Publication Process
BMS Publishing House follows a rigorous double-blind peer review process.
- Initial Editorial Screening & Similarity/Plagiarism Screening
- Assessment of research ethics and required declarations
- Assignment to appropriate independent double-blind reviewers
- Editorial evaluation of reviewer reports (Accept/Revise/Reject)
- Revision by authors where required
- Final editorial decision
- Copyediting, typesetting, and proof approval (within 7 days)
- Online publication and DOI allocation
Editorial Policies & Integrity
Publication Ethics & Malpractice
Authors, editors, and reviewers share responsibility for protecting scholarly integrity. Research fabrication, falsification, duplicate submissions, and improper image manipulations are strictly prohibited.
Plagiarism & Similarity Policy
All manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening. BMS does not treat a single similarity percentage as an automatic determination; editors evaluate context, source, and context of matched material.
AI and Generative AI Policy
Generative AI tools must NOT be listed as authors. Where used substantially in preparation, authors must disclose the extent in the manuscript. Authors remain fully responsible for content accuracy.
DOI & Archiving Policy
BMS assigns article DOIs via Zenodo using DataCite infrastructure. Content is preserved within publisher-controlled backup environments to ensure long-term stability.
